To place an order, oligonucleotide information (name, sequence) can be either directly uploaded from a text (*.txt) file on your computer or simply entered into the on-line order form by typing or using the copy and paste functions.
Downloadable Sample Files:
Please download your preferred sample file for your order entry.
Our online ordering system is automated. Please follow these Format Guidelines closely!
Order Entry:
Whether uploading, pasting, or typing, use the following format to enter name(s) and sequence(s) of your oligonucleotide(s): OLIGO-NAME, SEQUENCE
Acceptable Entry Examples:
oligo1, CGTGCTGCTGCTGC
oligo2,CGCTGCTG
oligo3,cgtgcgtgcgttttgt
oligo4, CGtgctg TGCggtgtgc
Please note: Whereas comma and return are CRITICAL, capitalization and spaces are not.
Simplifying Large Order Entries:
The easiest way to enter a large order is to copy and paste from an Excel spreadsheet. In this case, please copy from 2 columns, with the oligonucleotide names in Column A and the corresponding sequences in Column B. The insertion of a comma is NOT necessary.
Ordering Mixed (Degenerate) Oligonucleotides:
If you would like to order an oligonucleotide with equal proportions of mixed (or degenerate) bases at any position, use the appropriate IUB (International Union of Biochemistry) codes in your sequence. Please make sure to select “Degenerate” on the top of the order page.
Please note: Our DNA synthesis equipment limits the number of unique degenerate bases per oligonucleotide to three (i.e. ACGTANNNNNACGTSSACGTRRRRACTNNTC).
